Alfie - temporarily unavailable

MEET ALFIE...

A local shelter reached out to us to help Alfie. He had been adopted from the shelter as an 8 week old puppy in February - and was returned to the shelter with ONE WORKING LEG!  Alfie had a fractured front leg and complete paralysis in his back legs.

UPDATE: Alfie's front leg has healed and he is up walking. We are still evaluating his spinal injury that is causing some incontinence issues. We are hoping with time and specialized treatments, we can address the remaining neurological problems.

In the meantime, he loves his new friends in the Regal Beagle House, he is enjoying being "up on all 4's" again, and puts a smile on the staff faces everyday.
