Say Hi to Spiderman!

One of our new adoptables rescued from a high volume shelter in the Carolinas who reached out for help.
Spidey found himself at the shelter along with 9 other of his hound friends from the same former “home”. He arrived with a very painful eye which had been impaled with a foreign body for who knows how long, the pain he had endured is hard to even think about, but thanks to the shelter his eye has been removed. We are sure he is so relieved and thankful for that!

Unfortunately, he also comes to us with heartworm disease, as so many dogs from the south do. A 100% preventable disease. Heartworm treatment protocol has already begun, so we hope he will be ready for adoption by May 2025.
